Large size seamless gas cylinders are generally manufactured with large diameter chrome-molybdenum steel seamless steel pipe. Cr-Mo steel offers excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and also has high strength, good enough plasticity and toughness, even under the condition of 40 ℃. 4130X tube is the designation in both the ASTM and GB systems for this material. 4130X seamless steel tube for large gas cylinder specified in ASTM A519.
